Nursery Admissions

Nursery Admission Information

Thank you for looking at our nursery as an option for your child. We hope this information is of use and answers some of your questions.

We are a local church school and our nursery is open to children the term after their third birthday. Places are offered for five days a week, Monday to Friday, during school term-time. Our nursery starts at 8:45 am and finishes at 3:15. At this time, there is no breakfast club or afterschool club provision for nursery.

Our nursery aims to

• Improve the on-entry levels of the children.

• To support our early intervention policy and provide support for our families.

The nursery has 26 places and we have three nursery intakes each academic year in September, January and April. If, after you have submitted an application form, we are able to offer your child a place we will contact you the term before they are due to start. Allocations will be awarded based on Rochester Riverside’s Admission Arrangements (SIF not applicable). Parents who do not receive an allocated place will be placed on a waiting list based upon these arrangements.

Please note; admission to FS1 (Nursery) is the responsibility of the school and is no guarantee of a place in our reception class (FS2) as Medway Council themselves are responsible for that admission process.

If you would like to apply for our nursery, a link to the application form can be found on our admissions page at www.rrcoe.medway.sch.uk. If you have any questions, please contact the school office on 01634 471697 or email admissions@rrcoe.medway.sch.uk
