Tiny Tim
Welcome to Tiny Tim Class page
Hello everyone, on this page you can find out about what we are learning, our daily routines, dates for your diary and see our adventures!
The class teacher in Tiny Tim class is Mrs Whitcombe. Our teaching assistants are Mrs Beckett and Miss Crealock. Miss Oakey and Mrs Orellana also support in Tiny Tim.
At Rochester Riverside we provide the children with opportunities that engage, enthuse and spark curiosity. The children's interests are important to us and are at the heart of the learning opportunities provided. Our Riverside vision is behind everything we do as we explore together the fundamental questions of 'Who are we?' and 'How do we live?'

Tiny Tim - Timetable
Take a look at our adventures and what we've been learning...
In term 1, we have been busy settling in to school, making friends and learning new routines. The question we have been focusing on this term is 'Who are we?', our learning has been related to this question. We have been thinking about our community, our family, our bodies and differences between us, our feelings and emotions.
We have enjoyed getting messy with lots of different types of messy play. We also love building in the construction area. Exploring outside has also been a favourite, we have all loved being outside playing with the mud kitchen, playhouse and the tyres.
In maths, we have been exploring matching, sorting and comparing, we worked really hard at sorting different objects into many different groups. We also have loved making patterns, we liked to challenge ourselves to make tricky patterns.
Term 2
This term we are exploring our question 'How do we celebrate?'. We will be thinking about different celebrations, why people celebrate them and how they are celebrated. We will be thinking about many different celebrations some of which are; Bonfire Night, Remembrance Day, Diwali, Children in Need and Christmas. We will be recognising that different cultures celebrate different events and the way they celebrate may be different to how we do.
